KPS AND ARSENAL DIRECT AWARDED FOR BEST SPORTS AND LEISURE E-COMMERCE SITE

Customer Journey revolution at Arsenal Football Club

London, UK/Munich, 18 November 2020: KPS and Arsenal Direct, the official online shop of Arsenal Football Club, have been recognized for the best e-commerce website in the sports and leisure category at the UK E-Commerce Awards 2020. The awards were presented in individual categories, highlighting exceptional websites, platforms, vendors and marketing by internal teams and agencies. In March 2019, KPS was the winner in the category "UK eCommerce Agency of the Year".

KPS has been working with Arsenal Direct, the official online shop of Arsenal Football Club, for 3 years. The website and the resulting KPIs were reconfigured and the customer experience optimised. A new platform with more product lines and functions enabled the company to grow rapidly: for example, there are now tools for customising football kits or popular fan memorabilia.

Improvements can be seen in all areas of the website - such as improved page loading speed and a conversion rate increase of over 20%.

Commenting on this fantastic work by the Arsenal & KPS teams, Judge Davina Lines confirms:

“This was a complex and well presented project. Noticeably a lot of hard and excellent work has gone into the website that has considered the full user journey on and beyond the site.”

Since the launch of the website in 2017, the teams have continually contributed innovative enhancements. Stadium tours have been integrated into the main site, new payment methods added, the checkout process optimised and a continuous improvement programme implemented.
