KPS Summer Run 2020

Walk, Run, Hike - every step counts!

The KPS Summer Run 2020 – a tradition continues! The KPS family is running for a good and greater cause. One summer long – the start is as always on June 21st at 00:00 hours.

The year 2020 will be remembered as a challenging year by all of us, regardless of which country we call home. It is also very clear, that in times like these, help is needed even more. So, whether we run, walk or hike – with every step we take, we can help kids and young people in need. It is not just great exercise and good for our own health, it is also for a good cause. Like every year, we will equally divide and donate the money to charities and organizations in the largest KPS countries: Spain, Denmark, the UK and Germany.  #RunForAGoodCause

All activities are allowed such as running, walking, nordic walking or hiking . Like every year, we will equally divide and donate the money to charities and organizations in the largest KPS countries: Spain, Denmark, the UK and Germany.

The best runners, together with our board member Leonardo Musso, will hand over the donations to the organizations for children and young people in Germany, Denmark, Spain and England in autumn 2020.

What is the challenge about?

In 5 teams, the KPS employees walk a fixed virtual route. The starting point is the office in Oslo, and the destination is the office in Barcelona. Along this route not only the KPS offices in Oslo and Barcelona are visited, but also all other locations - Stockholm, Hamburg, Dortmund, Amsterdam, London, Heilbronn, Munich, Vienna and Zurich. However, there is no limit, if one of the teams makes it further, all the better.

If each team makes it to Barcelona, we will have reached our goal of running 30,495 kilometres together!

Where are the teams right now?

Will the teams have names?

KPS has taken the fastest animals on earth as its role model: The aim was to develop undreamt-of speed and strength as a team - as dangerously fast leopards, nimble marlins, breathtaking falcons, frighteningly fast ostriches or elegant antelopes.

Ready, Steady, Go!
