Michael Tsifidaris is one of KPS’s four founders. After graduating with a degree in business management, he began his career at IBM Consulting, where he led international projects in the areas of supply chain, ERP and outsourcing. After several positions with national and international responsibility, Tsifidaris was appointed to IBM’s Central European Management Team. In 1994, he published a book entitled “Management der Innovation: Pragmatische Konzepte zur Zukunftssicherung des Unternehmens“ (“Managing Innovation: pragmatic solutions to secure your company’s future“). In 2002, Michael Tsifidaris became Managing Partner at KPS Consulting with responsibility for the company’s strategic development, and is the Head of the Strategy & Transformation Consulting division. In 2008, he took on an additional role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Executive Board Member
Leonardo Musso is the sole executive board member of KPS AG. After completing his economics degree at the universities of Florence, Constance and Barcelona, Leonardo began his career at BMW AG. There, he worked in international product marketing, before moving to IBM Consulting where he shared responsibility for several international projects. Musso was one of the four founders of KPS in 2000, and since that time he manages operations for KPS's subsidiaries and acts as the chief representative of the holding company. He was appointed a member of the board in 2015.
Supervisory Board Member
Hans-Werner Hartmann has 35 years of management experience in SMEs and international corporations. He began his career with leadership roles in finance and accounting, moving on to senior management positions in various manufacturing companies. In 2004, he was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Haitec AG; after the reverse takeover by KPS, he took a seat on the Supervisory Board of KPS AG. He studied law and business management at the universities of Augsburg and Fulda, forming the foundation for Hartmann’s successful career. His work as a legal and business consultant has mainly focused on the areas of logistics, asset management, human resources, mergers and acquisitions and wide-ranging solutions for cost-saving and earnings growth. Today, Hans-Werner Hartmann provides M&A consulting for multinationals.
Supervisory Board Member
In his career as a management consultant, Uwe Grünewald has spent the past 25 years shaping and optimizing business processes. As one of the founders of KPS, he has been leading complex program initiatives for key accounts since January 2000. In May 2008, Uwe Grünewald was appointed to the KPS AG Supervisory Board. Prior to the foundation of KPS, he spent four years in various leadership and management roles at IBM, most recently as the head of the Industry Practice SAP-Beratung Deutschland. His career began in the telecommunications sector where, after starting up a business process optimization division, Grünewald was in charge of the company’s Europe-wide consulting business. Before entering employment, Uwe Grünewald received a degree in business management at the University of Cologne.
Steffen Sattler, Vice President and Managing Partner, has been working as a management consultant in the retail, consumer products and manufacturing industries for more than 18 years. After completing his degree in international management, he started his career in SAP consulting and went on to lead numerous international projects for major management consulting firms. Before joining KPS in 2006, he advised renowned corporations in the areas of strategy development and post-merger integration. At KPS Steffen Sattler works mainly in the areas of business development, business consulting and change management for large-scale transformation initiatives.
Dr. Michael Mirz
Dr. Michael Mirz, Vice President and Managing Partner at KPS, has 20 years of experience in the retail, manufacturing and automotive industries. After completing an undergraduate business degree at Boston University and an MBA at the IESE Business School in Barcelona, Mirz began his career in the automotive industry. He then spent several years in management roles at some of Europe’s leading fashion companies. At KPS, Michael Mirz works in business development and business consulting, leading large-scale KPS transformation projects with a focus on omnichannel retail, supply chain optimization and corporate restructuring.
Matthias Nollenberger is Vice President und Managing Partner at KPS, with over 18 years of experience in management and SAP consulting for the retail, consumer product and automotive industries. He leads major international transformation initiatives for KPS, responsible for the technology and architecture business. Matthias Nollenberger studied business management, specializing in operations research and international management at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. Before coming to KPS as Managing Partner, he held various management positions throughout Europe.
Josef Richter, Vice President and Managing Partner at KPS, has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of fashion, consumer products and automotive suppliers. After graduating with a degree in business management, he started his career at Webasto, where as CIO he took over the management of the spin-off company IT Informationssysteme GmbH. He went on to manage one of the earliest and largest transformation initiatives in the fashion industry to use SAP AFS and SAP Retail. After joining KPS as Managing Partner in 2009, he has since led a number of large-scale projects across Europe. Josef Richter is also responsible for KPS’ expansion into Scandinavia.
Thomas Süß, Vice President, has been involved in business process and SAP consulting for 25 years with a focus on the retail, consumer goods and manufacturing sectors. After completing his studies in economics, he began his career at Accenture and, before joining KPS, was involved in numerous project initiatives in Germany and abroad at major consulting firms such as Kurt Salmon Associates and Siemens Business Services. Thomas Süß has been leading large business transformation initiatives in the merchandise management sector in recent years, especially in the wholesale, fashion, department store chains and the food segments. He is also the head of the team responsible for the KPS end-to-end process delivery model through Rapid-Transformation®.
Alexander Fahrnholz is Managing Partner at KPS and has over 20 years of experience in the retail, consumer goods and manufacturing sectors. He graduated in economics at the University of Regensburg and started his career as a management consultant. He managed projects and initiatives in Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavia and the UK. During this time, Alexander worked in various management positions.
Alexander joined KPS in 2012 as a member of our business consulting team and has played a key role in the development of the Scandinavian business area, where he is responsible for several SAP transformation programs as program manager.
Frank Deburba, as a consistent designer, drives the development and realisation of new market strategies with determination and persistence. His training as a shipping merchant, studies in business administration, various management positions in international trade and in the software industry and more than 15 years of experience in management consulting form the basis of his current work. He has special expertise in digital transformation, business development, marketing and sales in manufacturing industries.
Thomas Sindemann, a business graduate, is a pragmatic strategist. Many years of experience in sales and marketing at a leading consumer goods manufacturer and as a top management consultant in an international consulting firm form the foundation on which Thomas Sindemann acts for our customers today. His particular expertise lies in the market-oriented realignment of technology and service companies and in ensuring the implementation programs are implemented.
