The future for SAP
The future for SAP
SAP’s most recent software and platform package, SAP Commerce Cloud version 2, is a public cloud-based solution that promotes automated deployment and scale management.
With their dedication to “next-generation commerce solutions”, they have begun ending support for previous versions of software. And whilst you’re still able to upgrade SAP Hybris to the latest version of on-premise, are you just delaying the inevitable?
SAP Hybris customers are faced with the decision to either stay with their current infrastructure and upgrade or make the move and upgrade to the cloud.
thinkTribe maps realistic journeys made by customers browsing and interacting as a real user would on a site – ensuring fast and error-free journeys. And they do this at scale, making sure there is no doubt the site is ready for peak trading, advising the customer of the maximum number of supported user journeys per hour.
With User Journeys representing realistic shoppers, thinkTribe then benchmarks each site on the most important metric – their user journey completion rate – ensuring sites meet today’s demand.
Here are a few customers who have already made the move:
Intersport Elverys made the move in April 2021, Not only did they future-proof their digital architecture, but they also enhanced their digital offering and, all-important, customer experience.
CCv2’s new decoupled storefront and commerce platform, allows you to quickly and easily make changes to customer touchpoints to deliver the most engaging customer experience.
Before the site went live on the new platform, thinkTribe’s monitoring team quality assured the new Commerce Cloud environment before release to make sure there were no customer-impacting issues.
ThinkTribe found the maximum number of user journeys that Elverys is now able to support on SAP Commerce Cloud 2, per hour, has increased by 132.5%. Off the back of this, they also found the maximum number of pages Elverys is capable of serving has increased by 133.3%.
So, say goodbye to peak dread – our customers are able to comfortably serve increased traffic with no fear of their site crashing and experiencing customer-impacting performance issues, ultimately leading to increases in conversion and revenue.
Upgrading to SAP Commerce Cloud has given their e-commerce flexibility and scalability, allowing new components to be quickly added as needed and meet any new digital trends. With self-service deployments, Dreams are able to add new features and updates easily and much more regularly than the older on-prem platform. The process of deploying is a lot more straightforward, lowering the risk of anything going wrong.
As the technology is cloud-based, it’s simple and cost-effective to manage – making it a future-proof foundation for growth.
Before the site went live on the new platform, Tribe’s monitoring team quality assured the new Commerce Cloud environment before release to make sure there were no customer-impacting issues.
Through ThinkTribe’s testing and monitoring services, we are confident that the maximum number of user journeys that Dreams is now able to support on SAP Commerce Cloud, per hour, has increased by 177.63%. thinkTribe have also discovered the maximum number of pages Dreams are now capable of serving has increased by 175.86%. We’ve supported LK Bennetts upgrade from SAP Hybris to Commerce Cloud. Not only did this reduce their Total Cost of Ownership by nearly 50%, but it also gave them the ability to adapt to digital trends much quicker with self-service deployments.
The feature-rich platform has given LK Bennett the ability to put the customer’s needs first to create superior customer experience. Their upgrade has lead to a roadmap packed full of customer focussed initiatives, one of the first ones being search and merchandising.
Working closely with our testing and monitoring partner, Think Tribe, we’ve found the functionality and capacity of LK Bennett – now fully upgraded to CCV2 – in comparison to their previous Hybris environment, had increased the headroom in their online capacity when trading at peak by 1,500%. Not only giving them confidence in their new platform, but also in their ability to trade during times of high traffic.
So, not only does SAP Commerce Cloud future-proof your business, reduce operational costs, help you meet your KPIs (increase ROI and AOV by serving more customers quicker) and manage demand more effectively, our partners at ThinkTribe have proven CCv2 brings more interactivity and speed with increased capacity across user journeys, pages and orders your site will be able to serve and support.
