ANWB expands online assortment

Munich, 18 September 2024 - Today, the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB introduces ANWB Marketplace, a new online platform where external retailers and suppliers can offer their products and services.  To this end, the association works with Mirakl as a software supplier, KPS as an implementation partner, and Emico as a development partner.  The new Marketplace offers customers a more comprehensive offering that provides a better shopping experience. Buyers can rely on reliable information, quality, and service from ANWB.

The Marketplace is integrated into the existing ANWB webshop and offers thousands of new products from 15 selected sellers at launch, in addition to ANWB's own range of around 6,000 products. Customers will find everything they need to be carefree and happy on the go, from car and bicycle accessories to camping items, travel luggage, clothing and useful gadgets. For example, there are items for sale from sportswear manufacturer Rogelli, smartphone accessories from Smartphonehoesjes.nl and camping accessories and electronics from Mestic and Travellife.
With the launch of our new Marketplace, we want to offer our customers an even better shopping experience. By working with carefully selected external sellers, we can offer a wider range of products without compromising on the quality and service our customers expect from us.

Quality and reliability

The ANWB guarantees the quality of the Marketplace through strict selection criteria for sellers and products. The sellers' products are only offered online by ANWB via anwb.nl, and orders are delivered directly by the sellers. 

Advice and products 

In the short term, the ANWB will amplify the Marketplace products with the expertise of ANWB specialists, independent tests, advice and information to help its members make the best choice. Members can then purchase the products directly through the ANWB web shop, guided by the ANWB recommendations.

The ANWB aims to expand its Marketplace with further products and services to develop it into a leading platform in the Netherlands. To this end, the association works with Mirakl as a software supplier, KPS as an implementation partner, and Emico as a development partner.
