Our journey together...
We were first appointed in early 2017 on a project to help Elverys sales assistants take orders in store for items currently out of stock in that store, to help improve in-store conversion, rather than the customer having to leave the store and go online to purchase. Following this initial successful initiative, Elverys appointed us to be their first System Integrator, managing their e-commerce presence, and we’ve worked with them ever since
Initially, we worked hard to stabilise their site (running in SAP Commerce Cloud), following a code audit that we initiated on appointment. Since then, we’ve embarked on a series of continuous improvements for them, constantly evaluating how to improve conversion rates.
SAP Commerce Cloud
More recently, we migrated Intersport Elverys from SAP Commerce Cloud 1 (CCv1) to CCv2. Not only did this future-proof their digital architecture, but the migration has enhanced their digital offering and customer experience.
Elverys offers customers free delivery, click and collect options, the ability to purchase (and redeem) gift vouchers online, online order tracking and a variety of payment methods.
Continuing to Innovate
In late 2019, Elverys opened a new million euro superstore in Limerick. Digital screens with special touch screen displays facilitate e-Shop browsing and tablets for online ordering merge the line between the different strands of the business. As part of its omnichannel strategy, which combines physical and online presence, the retailer has a continued investment programme.
